COZY FALL MAL CROCHET & Knit blanket SQUARE Patterns

Beanberry Square

The BeanBerry Square has a super warm and squishy texture. It is perfect for making comfy, cozy blankies for babies of all ages!


Skill Level

Easy

Materials

• Big Twist Living 100% Anti Pilling Acrylic

Colorway Pine Green

• Crochet hook size L (7 mm)

• Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends

Gauge

12 dc = about 4 in. (10 cm).


Notes
Square is worked in one piece, back and forth in rows, in a quick and easy stitch pattern.


Bean Stitch:
1. Insert your hook into the indicated stitch and pull up a loop (2 loops on the hook).
2. Yarn over, insert your hook into the same stitch and pull up a loop (4 loops on the hook).
3. Yarn over, insert your hook into the same stitch and pull up a loop (6 loops on the hook).
4. Yarn over and pull through all six loops on the hook.
5. Chain 1 to secure the stitch.


Square
Ch 24
Row 1: Work 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook
and in every ch across, (23 hdc)
Row 2: Ch 1 turn, hdc in 1st hdc, *sk next st, BEAN STITCH in next st* rep bet ** 8x, hdc in
last hdc, (1 hdc+ch, 1 hdc, 9 BEAN STITCHES)
Note: that beginning on Row 3, BEAN STITCHES stitches are worked in the spaces
between stitches instead of in the top of the stitches.
Row 3-18: rep row 2
Row 19: hdc in every st across, (23 hdc)
Fasten off
Finishing
Weave in ends

AUTUMN WEAVE SQUARE


The Autumn Weave Square is sample of my favorite scarf stitch! It has a wonderfully soft and squishy texture that is perfect for Fall!


Materials
Yarn: Big Twist Soft/Gold 320 yd 100% acrylic or any 4 weight – 200yds / 182m
: US 10mm
Scissors
Tapestry Needle for weaving in ends


Gauge
17 sts X 20 rows = 4” X 4”
Finished Size
8in × 8in


Square

Beg: CO 34 st.
R1 - 5: *k2, p2*. Rep * 16 more times,
R6 - 10: *p2, k2*. Rep *16 more times,
Rep R1-10 3 more times for a total of 40 rows. BO and weave ends.
